Electricity

Since electricity needs to be generated from an primary energy source, and often has to travel miles to your home, it’s far less efficient to use for the carbon output it sends into the atmosphere.

Gasoline/Diesel

There’s a reason many car makers are moving away from the traditional gasoline powered engine for their cars. Mile after mile, they continuously release harmful pollutants from the exhaust pipes into the air.

Propane

Propane is a clean burning fuel, which means it doesn’t release harmful chemicals as you use it. Because it can be stored locally in a liquid state, far less energy is lost, and doesn’t require long habitat disrupting power lines. 

Not all Fossil Fuels are Created Equal.

You will often hear that all fossil fuels are bad.

This is really not the case, whereas coal, oil, and gasoline pollute when they’re burned, propane is produced by taking an otherwise harmful greenhouse gas in the form of methane, and purifying it.

Propane isn’t created from this process alone either. Renewable propane can be produced from animal fats and cooking oils prior to being converting into bio-diesel, and can be used in the same ways that methane-purified propane can.
